HubSpot

Create or update HubSpot contacts when someone completes your form. This integration is free on every Floov plan; HubSpot's own permissions and limits still apply.

Early access: A limited number of HubSpot accounts can connect until Marketplace approval.

Connect HubSpot

As the workspace owner, open Settings > Integrations and choose Connect a HubSpot account. Sign in, choose your HubSpot account, and approve access. You can also connect from the HubSpot panel in the form editor. Admins and editors can configure forms using an existing connection; only the owner can connect or disconnect accounts.

If the connection window does not open, allow popups or open the connection link in a new tab. Choose Refresh after connecting.

Set Up Your Form

  1. Add an email question to your form.
  2. Open Settings > Integrations > HubSpot in the form editor.
  3. Select the connected HubSpot account and choose the Email field. A hidden field containing an email address is also supported.
  4. Use Add contact property to select the HubSpot properties you want to populate, then choose a form answer for each. Map up to 100 properties.
  5. Turn on Send responses to HubSpot and publish your form.

For an already published form, close the panel and choose Apply to live form at the top of the Integrations tab. This applies integrations and tracking without publishing other draft changes. New questions and hidden fields must be published before using them in live mappings. See Publishing Forms.

Adding or editing a field mapping keeps your current delivery setting. New mappings stay incomplete until you select a form field. Complete or remove unfinished mappings before publishing or applying changes; your live integration keeps its existing settings until then.

Contacts and Field Mapping

Floov matches contacts by email. If a contact exists, only mapped, non-empty answers are updated; otherwise a contact is created. A valid email is required for each delivery. Empty optional answers leave existing values unchanged, while zero and unchecked checkbox answers are sent. Matching an additional email preserves the contact's primary email.

Supported properties include text, numbers, booleans, dates, datetimes, and single-choice options, including supported custom properties. Option answers must match a HubSpot option's internal value or its unique label. Use date questions for date properties and Date & Time questions for datetime properties. Date mappings preserve the selected calendar date.

Read-only, calculated, hidden, sensitive, external-option, multiple-checkbox, and marketing subscription properties are excluded. Files, signatures, compound addresses, rankings, and multiple-selection answers cannot be mapped. Create any custom properties in HubSpot first, then refresh the panel. Renaming a property's label preserves its mapping; removing it or changing its type can require updating the mapping.

Changing accounts asks for confirmation before clearing property mappings and turning delivery off in the draft. The email field is kept. Review the new mappings and apply your changes.

Check Delivery

Only new completed responses are sent. Partial and historical responses are not imported. Check the form's Deliveries page for failures. A failed delivery leaves the response saved in Floov. There is no automatic delivery retry. Check field formats, account permissions, and HubSpot limits when a delivery fails.

This integration manages contacts only. It does not create companies or deals, subscribe contacts to marketing emails, or record a HubSpot form-submission event.

Turn Off or Disconnect

Turn off delivery or clear the configuration, then publish or choose Apply to live form. Disconnecting the workspace account stops future Floov delivery immediately and leaves existing HubSpot contacts intact. You can also uninstall Floov in HubSpot to revoke its access. After reconnecting, select the account again in affected forms and apply your settings. Moving a form to another workspace requires selecting a connection in the destination workspace.
