Close a Form & Set Limits

Open Settings > Access in the form editor to pause responses or set a limit. Publish each change to make it live.

Close or Reopen

Turn on Close form to pause collection on either plan. Turn it off to reopen, provided no other active limit has closed the form.

Set a Deadline

Pro. Turn on Set time limit and choose a date and time in your device's time zone. The form closes automatically at that moment. Change or disable the deadline to reopen it.

Limit Responses

Pro. Turn on Set response limit and enter a positive maximum. The limit counts completed responses across published versions; partial responses do not count. Raise or disable it to collect more.

Customize the Message

Turn on Customize closure message and enter up to 500 characters. This public message appears for manual closures, deadlines, and response limits. Turn it off to restore the default message.

Visitors see This form is closed before any password prompt. Account restrictions or lapsed Pro access instead show Form unavailable without your custom message.
