Calculations
Free on every plan. Calculations are available in every form’s settings, with no activation required. Use calculations for quotes, pricing, lead scores, and other numeric results.
Create a Calculation
- Open Settings > Calculations and choose Add calculation.
- Name it and choose Fixed value, Calculation, or Answer score.
- For a calculation, choose its starting number, numeric question, or another calculation. Add operations in the order you want them applied.
- Use Try values to check sample answers. These are not saved as responses.
For a quote, create a fixed Unit price of 49.90. Create Quote total, start with your Quantity question, and multiply by Unit price. A quantity of 3 gives 149.70. Add conditions to an operation for discounts or bonuses; conditional operations are also free.
Display the Result
Add a Calculated value block from Content in the toolbox. Or type @ and select a calculation in a Title, Editor, question label, instructions, or email subject or message. Click its chip to choose number or currency formatting, decimal places, and an empty placeholder. Results also work on ending pages.
Check and Publish
Choose how unanswered sources should behave, then preview empty answers, zero, and every conditional path. Hidden questions contribute no answer. Answers already entered on a page still contribute if a later route skips that page; going Back does not add points again. Fix missing references or circular dependencies before publishing.
Floov recalculates and saves results when a response is submitted. Every calculation is included in responses, exports, webhooks, and all-answer notifications, even if it is not displayed on the form. Editing saved answers recalculates using that response’s original published formula and does not resend integrations or emails.
Using results in page workflows, field visibility, redirects, embed parameters, or respondent confirmations keeps those features’ Pro requirements. Calculated Insights and public reports are not available yet.
